Srinagar, 02 July: People’s Democratic Party leader and Pulwama MLA Wahid Ur Rehman Para on Wednesday slammed the government to evacuate the situation of the Advocate General, stating that nine months had passed since the government was elected.
He questioned the government, “Why delay?”.
Giving it a “intentional” inactivity, Para said, “At a time when in constitutional cases, in courts, in courts, this vacuum is intentionally”.
In a post on X, Para wrote, “9 months in an elected government, Jammu and Kashmir still has no lawyer normal. At a time when the constitutional matters that have been in the courts since August 5, this vacuum is deliberately crossing the border. A border is facing cross-border threats in the state, in a border state facing the threats, legal aid and advice stalls, stalls and remedies, are rebuating.”
