Nick Preraj will also serve two years of supervised release after his release from prison, as federal prisoners are not eligible for parole.

In addition to his federal convictions, he has had legal troubles including charges of assaulting a police officer, domestic violence and drug-related crimes, according to court records cited by prosecutors.
