Pannu’s close aide Khalistani separatist Inderjit Singh Ghosal shot at Canadian home

Inderjit Singh Gosal’s home in Ontario, Canada, was shot at, local police officials said Monday. Ghosal is a close associate of Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, a prominent American Khalistani separatist leader. Constable Tyler Bell-Morena said construction workers discovered a bullet hole in the window of Inderjit Singh Gosal’s home.

Police said no one was injured in the shooting because the Brampton, Ont., home was under construction and was currently unoccupied. “We understand who this individual is and his affiliations, but it is too early to speculate on any links to other violence and threats. We are obviously considering all avenues of investigation,” Bell-Morena was quoted as saying by the news agency. . AFP.

Pannu said the incident was a “drive-by shooting.” Earlier this month, a group of people was shot at the British Columbia home of Nijjar associate Simranjeet Singh. Two Canadian teenagers were arrested for shooting, but police have not determined a motive, Canadian media reported.

Both cases centered on radical Sikh separatists living abroad. Khalistan separatists have used Canadian soil to promote separatism for years, and the Trudeau government has faced criticism for failing to address the threat Khalistan poses to the Indian diaspora and India’s sovereignty.

Khalistan separatists are also closely involved in organized crime, drug cartels and human trafficking and are funded by Pakistan’s spy agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence, for anti-India activities.

Separatists have attacked the Indian diaspora, vandalized temples and members of the Sikh community who did not support their fringe militant groups.

Canadian authorities have failed to take action against groups that openly call for violence against Indians and Indians and radicalize Sikh youth in Canada and other countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia.
