India on Thursday rejected Pakistan’s allegation of involvement of Indian agents in the killing of two Pakistani terrorists in Sialkot and Rawalkot last year.
Terming the statement as ‘false and malicious’, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said Pakistan will reap what it sows, adding that this is Islamabad’s latest attempt to spread false and malicious anti-India propaganda.
“Pakistan will reap what it sows. Blaming others for one’s own misdeeds can be neither a justification nor a solution,” Jaiswal said.
The comments come hours after Pakistan claimed it had ‘credible evidence’ of links between ‘Indian agents’ in the killing of two Pakistani terrorists belonging to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba.
Foreign Secretary Muhammad Cyrus Sajjad Qazi, at a press conference in Islamabad, alleged that India was carrying out ‘extra-territorial and extrajudicial killings’ inside Pakistan.
In response to media queries regarding the comments made by the Pakistan Foreign Ministry, official spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry Randhir Jaiswal says, “We have seen media reports regarding certain comments of the Pakistan Foreign Secretary. “As the world knows, Pakistan has long been a hub of terrorism, organized crime and illicit international activities,” Jaiswal said. He said India and many other countries have publicly warned Pakistan that it will be consumed by its culture of terror and violence.
Meanwhile, former Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Thursday said every election since independence has been stolen and warned that the general elections to be held on February 8 will be a loss for the country as the election process was rigged.
Abbasi, who was prime minister between 2017 and 2018, asked Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja, Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa and caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar to ensure that the upcoming elections are non-controversial.
Addressing the media in Rawalpindi, Abbasi said, “We have stolen every election since 1947. A country which does not respect public opinion can never progress.”
