Pakistan PM Shahbaz Sharif “says” we want to resolve all controversies “

Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the country is ready to talk for “long problems” with India to “find solutions”, including Kashmir, water-sharing and trade. He commented during a joint press conference during his visit to Tehran.

Addressing a joint press conference with Iranian President Masood Peseshkian, Sharif, according to a report by Pakistani media outlet Dawn, said, “We are ready to talk, for peace on water issues with our neighbor.” He continued, “We are ready to talk to promote business and also terrorism-discipline …”

“We wanted peace, we wanted peace and we would work for peace in the region, through negotiations, on the table, and resolve our outstanding issues,” Sharif said.

Pakistan PM said, “But if they accept my peace offer, we will show that we really want peace, seriously and honestly.”

After the Turki’s visit, Sharif was in Iran on Monday. After Iran, he is visiting Tajikistan and Azerbaijan.

Iranian state media IRNA said that President Masaud Peseshkian has voiced Iran’s support for a sustainable ceasefire between India and Pakistan, which calls for dialogue to resolve disputes between regional countries and promote peace.

The Indus Water Treaty was seen after the death of 26 innocent civilians after the Drunk Pahgam terror attack.

In view of the attack, the government took a series of action against Pakistan, out of which any Indus was putting the water treaty in Abhay.
Previously, Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar had also reiterated that the Indus Water Treaty signed in 1960, is currently in hold due to Pakistan’s cross -border terrorism. The treaty controls the division of water resources between the Indus River and its tributaries between India and Pakistan.

Earlier, Mea spokesperson Randhir Jiswal had said that climate change and demographic changes have created new realities on the ground.

“Now, according to the CCS decision, I referred to the treaty on 23 April, reliably and unchanging crossing the treaty, ending its support for terrorism across the border. Please also note that climate change, demographic changes and technical changes have created new realities on the ground.”

According to a notification from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, India, regardless of its import status, immediately banned the direct or indirect import and transit of all goods generated from Pakistan. (AI)
