“Pakistan attacked our schools, colleges, gurdwaras … but India’s powerful air defense system destroyed their missiles, drones”: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that after Operation Sindoor, Pakistan launched missiles and drone attacks on India’s schools, colleges, temples, gurudwaras and residential areas in disappointment, but India’s powerful air defense system stopped them in the sky and destroyed them, causing any infiltration in the Indian region.

PM Modi further said that India’s accurate and tremendous attacks had left Pakistan in deep disappointment, pushed into frustration. In its movement, Pakistan resorted to a careless act instead of joining the global fight against terrorism

Furthermore, appreciating the Indian defense forces, the Prime Minister said that India retaliated with strength, and its drones and missiles attacked Pakistani airports, which was a pride for the neighboring country.

PM Modi also said that many terrorists were roaming freely in Pakistan, but India gave them a blow.

In his address to the nation, PM Modi said, “Many terrorists were roaming freely in Pakistan. India ended them in a blow. Due to this action of India, Pakistan fell into deep disappointment. It was disappointed, and in this disappointment, it supported India’s action. Pakistan targeted our holy places.

“Pakistan prepared for a war on the border, but India attacked Pakistan’s heart. India’s drones and missiles attacked with power. Pakistani wind bases, which were very proud of Pakistan, were damaged. India destroyed Pakistan to the extent that they could not even imagine,” he said.

The Prime Minister reiterated that India abolished more than 100 terrorists in Pakistan and described Operation Sindoor as the final vow of justice.

“Operation Sindoor, this is not just a name, it is a reflection of the feelings of many people of the country. Operation is the final vow of justice. During the late night of May 6 and on the morning of 7 May, the whole world has converted this pledge into results. It is first associated with the spirit of the nation, then a tough decision is taken.

The Prime Minister said that places like Bahawalpur and Muridke had long served as the center of global terrorism, which associates them with major attacks around the world, including 9/11 attacks in the US, London tube bombings and terrorist incidents in India for decades.

He said that Indian missiles and drones not only shaken terrorist organizations, but also their buildings.

“When Indian missiles and drones attacked terrorist bases in Pakistan, not only the buildings of terrorist organizations were shaken, but their courage was also shaken. Whatever has happened in universities of global terrorism by terrorist bases like Bhavalpur and Muridke, they are anywhere.

Saying that the Indian armed forces have shown great courage to achieve the objectives of Operation Sindoor, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that the forces were given complete freedom to wipe the terrorists.

He said, “I salute scientists on behalf of all Indian armed forces, intelligence units, every Indian. To achieve the goal of operation vermilion, he showed his immense bravery. On 22 April, 26 citizens were killed in a terrorist attack in Pahgam. In response, India launched Operation Sindoor, more than 100 militants died while conducting an accurate attack on terrorist infrastructure in Jammu and Kashmir (POK) occupied by Pakistan and Pakistan.
