Ozzy did not reveal whether he would perform at this year’s induction ceremony, but revealed that he was currently “feeling inspired to make music”.

“I’m not putting any timetable on it,” the musician said.

However, Ozzy stated, “I am planning to start work on a new album sometime in the near future.”

Earlier in 2023, in an interview with the outlet, the musician revealed that he was undergoing “final surgery” and that he wanted to “make another album and return to live performance”.

“Now all my surgeries are done, thank God. I feel fine – it was just stretching,” Ozzy said.

“I thought I would be back on my feet months ago, I just couldn’t get used to this way of living, with something constantly going wrong,” the singer told the outlet. I can’t walk properly right now, but I’m in no pain now and my spine surgery has gone very well.”
