Heartbreaking news of his passing emerged after close friend Killer Mike expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Outkast producer on Instagram.

In a heartfelt message posted on Saturday, April 13, Mike expressed his deep sense of loss while praying for Rico Wade’s wife, children and the entire Wade family.

Mike wrote: “I have no words to express my deep sense of loss. I pray for your wife and children. I pray for the Wade family. I pray for all of us.”

“I deeply appreciate your acceptance of Dungeon Family, your mentorship, friendship and brotherhood. I don’t know what I would do without you,” he added.

“This journey wouldn’t be the same without your… love and respect. Michael,” the friend signed off in a heartfelt message posted next to the carousel.

The post prompted an outpouring of condolences and shock from fans and reflected Wade’s significant contribution to the Atlanta music scene.
