In a video posted by the group on the first tiktok, Mr. Deeh and Ms. Gasho could be seen singing and dancing while serving with court papers in the camp by an officer.

Earlier, Z Zedberg Councilor Scott Hamilton stated that the zamindar was left to “no alternative”, but to take an order from Sheriff.

“The group of campers has clearly ignored the ultimatum given by Sheriff Officers on Friday 5 September,” he said.

“It’s disappointing, but I cannot say that it is not surprising to see the previous behavior of the group.”

Mr. Hamilton said that the zamindar now had no option but to apply for warrant and interdict.

He said that the council would support the zamindar through the next stages.

“All additional safety measures will remain until this situation is resolved.

“As long as this next stage of the eviction process plays, please I can remind people of not being attached to this group.”

A spokesperson of the Borders Council said earlier: “This week, the legal representatives for Wood’s zamindar occupied by three campers are acting, they have given notice to them to leave.

“On Monday, September 8, 2025, the deadline was fixed at 5 pm. The three persons failed to follow the notice.

“We have been advised that an application has been filed with the court for an order given by Sheriff.”
