Speaking at the Samarpan Shankalpa Samvesh rally in Vijayanagar, Karnataka, Kharge alleged that intelligence agencies had prior information about a possible attack in the region and questioned why the tourists were not informed.
“26 people were killed in Kashmir as the Modi government did not provide security to tourists. Modi did not go to Kashmir as intelligence agencies did not ask them. You (central government) did not inform tourists not to go there (Pahgam)? If they had, 26 people could have been saved, and this would not have been a small war (Operation Sindhor),” he said.
He also hit the center at the center to target the Congress party using central agencies. “Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi gave their lives for the country. You felt that we should give Ed and CBI notice to such a party and cause trouble and weaken it. It will never happen,” he said.
Later in a post on X, Kharge alleged that the government had not responded to claims on the mediation of US President Donald Trump.
“PM Modi has been making foreign trips continuously for the last 11 years, but when India needed international support to highlight Pakistan, no other country has come forward to support us. In the last 11 years, Prime Minister Modi has made 151 foreign trips and visited 72 countries. Of these, out of these, for our country alone. Pakistan has a $ 1. 1.4 billion bail loan.
“A ceasefire was suddenly declared, while our brave armed forces were operating against terrorists. The US President insulted our country saying,” I brokened “the ceasefire between India and Pakistan, and not less than 7 times.” He said.
Trump recently said that he used “trade” for the “ceasefire” broker between India and Pakistan.
“A few days ago, my administration broke into a historic ceasefire to prevent increasing violence between India and Pakistan, and I used business to a large extent. I said, ‘Let me make a deal.’ We should not trade nuclear missiles. We trade things that you do very beautifully.

“It is clear that Mallikrajun Kharge wants to do politics on it. Our DGMO has talked about what happened there in two press conferences. Kharge did not say that the Indian forces destroyed the air defense system of the enemy’s country in 23 minutes.
BJP MP Sambit Patra also criticized Kharge and said, “You work to give oxygen to Pakistan … Today, we all know why Hafiz likes Rahul (Gandhi). Congress party, Kharge ji is saying that Operation Sindoor is a small war – which are not able to capable of enticing our heights.
