Toronto -Ontario, health officials, are reporting only three new measles cases in the last one week, all in the south -western region of the province.
Public Health Ontario says that since the onset of outbreak in October, the total case of the province is counted in 2,362 measles cases.
A case stated earlier in Sudbari’s public health unit was reduced by tally.
Last week, the province’s data release saw an increase in eight cases, which reflected the single point increase before January.
Three new cases reported between August 5 and August 12 were in South -West Ontario, in which a total of 769 infections have been reported.
Public health officials reiterated that the downward tendency in the count of the weekly case suggests that the transmission may slow down, but require continuous vigilance.
Most of the 164 people hospitalized with measles in Ontario are unaffected infants, children and teenagers.
