The OnePlus 12 series was launched in India and global markets at its global event in Delhi on Tuesday. The new OnePlus flagship lineup also includes a mid-range flagship, the OnePlus 12R, both of which were first introduced in China last year. OnePlus sees great importance in launching its latest products early in the year, something the brand also did in 2023.

The OnePlus 12 lineup comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen chipset, supports fast charging and gets Android 14-based OxygenOS out of the box.

OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R price in India

OnePlus 12 has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 64,999, going up to Rs 69,999 for the highest variant. OnePlus 12R comes for Rs 39,999 in which you get the 12 GB RAM model this year. The phones will be available on open sale from January 30.

OnePlus Buds 3 will be available in the market from February 6 for Rs 5,499.

Features of OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R

The OnePlus 12 has a 6.82-inch display, while the 12R has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with different screen resolutions, but the adaptive 120Hz refresh rate is common to both. OnePlus is using the latest 8 Gen 3 chipset to power the OnePlus 12, while the 12R is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC which is no slouch either.

You get the OnePlus 12 with up to 16GB of RAM while the 12R is available with 12GB of RAM and this year the storage has increased to 1TB. Both devices get Android 14-based OxygenOS, and the brand promises 4 years of OS upgrades.

The OnePlus 12 features a premium camera module that houses a 50MP wide sensor, a 64MP periscope lens, and a 48MP ultra-wide sensor. There is a 32MP shooter on the front of the phone. Talking about OnePlus 12R, you have a 50MP primary sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP tertiary sensor. There is a 16MP camera in the front.

Moving on to the battery, the OnePlus 12 has a 5,400mAh unit with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging. The OnePlus 12R also has a similar battery pack but it only comes with 100W wired charging support.
