United States of America (USA)

Apple recently launched its first Vision Pro headphones and it seems hundreds of thousands of people quickly bought the $3,499 (approximately Rs. 2.90 lakh) headphones. Apple has talked about opening up the world to spatial computing, which is nothing more than mounting a computer and various cameras on your face to give you a realistic virtual experience.

So, how and what do people use their headphones in their free time? Well, visuals posted on social media over the past few days suggest that Vision Pro users are wearing the headphones while doing almost everything. take plane? Check. Take the subway and get some work done? Check. Going to a restaurant with friends? Check.

But some even show people still wearing their headphones while crossing the street or sitting behind the wheel. Imagine if a person drove while wearing a Vision Pro headset, human error would result, leading to a major traffic accident and claiming someone’s life.

Now, these unique but dangerous examples show that Apple needs to be careful about how people use its headphones. The company could bring a special mode that activates or deactivates when people use the Vision while exercising.

It’s not all doom and gloom with Apple’s mixed reality headset. People can use the headset with over 600 apps, including Microsoft Excel, Mail, Weather apps, allowing you to virtually experience conditions in your area. You can also play games on your device. Reviews of this headset have been mostly mixed, purely because this is a first-generation device and people have higher expectations for the company’s next few iterations.
