‘No bail even in the Supreme Court’: Prime Minister’s blistering attack on opposition

'Bail cannot be granted even in the Supreme Court': Prime Minister's blistering attack on opposition

Meerut:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday lashed out at India’s opposition bloc, saying attacks on him would not stop the fight against corruption and action would be taken against those involved in corruption, regardless of their status.

“These people formed the INDI(A) alliance when Modi went all out to fight corruption. They thought it would intimidate Modi, but for me, my Bharat is my family and I am taking steps to protect it from Victims of corruption. “Corruption,” the Prime Minister said at his first rally in Uttar Pradesh after the Lok Sabha election schedule was announced.

Prime Minister Modi’s counteroffensive came as staunch supporters of the Hindu bloc held a rally at New Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan in support of AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and JMM leader Hemant Soren, who was arrested on corruption charges, and accused the prime minister of authoritarian policies.

The prime minister said some people were upset because he was taking action to combat corruption.

“I am fighting a great battle to save my country from corrupt elements. That is why they are in jail today and cannot even get bail from the Supreme Court,” PM Modi said.

“This election is a fight between two camps. On one side is the National Development Authority, which is committed to eradicating corruption, and on the other side is the INDI(A) Alliance, which is focused on protecting corrupt leaders. You have to decide whether it should be eradicated Corruption,” he said at a rally in Meerut.

“Corrupt elements should listen… No matter how many times you attack Modi, this is Modi and he will not stop. No matter how big the corrupt elements are, action will be taken against those who have plundered the country’s property. “The country must Return it. This is Modi’s assurance,” he said.

Prime Minister Modi raised the issue of Kachattiu Island, accusing the Congress party and the opposition alliance of trying to harm the country’s unity and sovereignty.

Today, yet another anti-India act by the Congress was exposed. Kachatiu Island, located between India and Sri Lanka and extremely important from a national security perspective, was given away by Congress after independence.

“India is still paying the price for the Congress government’s misdeeds,” he said.

Prime Minister Modi said the 2024 Lok Sabha elections are not just about forming a government but also about forming a ‘Viksit Bharat’, adding that his government is preparing a roadmap for the next five years.

Prime Minister Modi hailed Meerut as the land of “revolution and revolutionaries” that has produced leaders like Chaudhry Charan Singh for the country.

“Our government has begun preparations for a third term. We are developing a road map for the next five years. Work is proceeding rapidly on what major decisions we must make in the first 100 days.

“Over the last decade you’ve seen just the trailer of development, now we have to take this country further,” he said.

The Prime Minister said that he has been living in poverty and “that’s why Modi understands very well the sorrow of every poor person, the pain of every poor person, the pain of every poor person”.

“So, I have devised plans to address every concern of the poor. We have not only empowered the poor but also restored their self-respect,” PM Modi said.

Indian President Jayant Chaudhary, who recently joined the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance, shared the podium with the prime minister at the rally.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini and veteran actor famous for TV series Ramayana The rally was attended by Arun Govil, the Meerut BJP candidate.
