NIA files charges against three more accused in Rajasthan PFI conspiracy case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed charges against three more accused in the case of Popular Front of India (PFI) in Rajasthan, accused of conspiring to radicalize Muslim youth and provide them with weapons training to target Muslim youth . Incite violence.

The accused is Vajid Ali, who has been booked under Sections 120B, 153A of the IPC and Sections 13, 18 and 18A of the UA(P) Act; Mubarik Ali has been booked under Sections 120B, 153A of the IPC, Sections 13, 18 and 18A of the UA(P) Act. Registration under Sections 13, 17, 18, 18A and 18B and Section 4/25(1B)(b) of the Arms Act; Shamsher Khan under Sections 120B, 153A of the IPC and Sections 13, 18 and 18A of the UA(P) Act Register.

“Defendants Wajid Ali, Mubarik Ali and Shamsher Khan conspired with other co-defendants to provide training to gullible Muslims in the handling and use of weapons to commit acts of violence. Wajid Ali, Mubarik Ali and Shamsher Khan were found involved in organizing weapons training camps for the PFI to help achieve the goal of establishing Islamic rule in India by 2047,” an NIA statement said.

“The three defendants used a false narrative created by their co-defendants to provide weapons training to gullible young people in order to induce and promote acts of ‘selective violence’ against members of other communities,” the statement added.

Earlier, the NIA had filed charges against the accused Mohd Asif, Sadiq Sarraf and Mohd Sohail under Sections 120B, 153A of the IPC and Sections 13, 17, 18, 18A and 18B of the UA(P) Act.

The case was initially registered at the NIA headquarters in New Delhi under Sections 120B, 153A of the IPC and Sections 13 and 18 of the UA(P) Act.
