Hari Shankar Jain represented the Hindu side in the Babri Masjid case in 1993. He won the legal battle in Allahabad High Court. During that time his son Vishnu was helping him.

The Ayodhya dispute, which started in 1993, ended with the Supreme Court’s decision in 2019. Till then Vishnu fought the case of Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya.

Hari Shankar had contested the elections from Amethi against senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and had also filed a petition in the court against her as she was not an Indian citizen.

Vishnu is the spokesperson of ‘Hindu Front for Justice’. He started pleading the Ram Janmabhoomi case in 2011, challenging the 2010 verdict of the Allahabad High Court. In 2016, he passed the Supreme Court Advocate on Record examination and made his first appearance there.

The high-profile father-son duo has fought more than 100 cases so far.

The two are also fighting a case over 27 Hindu and Jain temples that were destroyed by Muslim invaders to build the Qutub Minar.
