“The 8 Show” will premiere in May

8 showThe movie starring Korean actor Ryu Joon Yeol and actress Chun Woo Hee is expected to be released on May 17.

With the highly anticipated release date approaching, Netflix released a new poster and trailer for the upcoming Korean original series on Thursday, April 11.

Directed by Han Jae-rim, the comedy series follows eight people from different walks of life who find themselves in financial trouble. They all end up participating in a reality competition to win a large sum of money.

Trapped in a mysterious eight-story building, they engage in a dangerous game that becomes increasingly lucrative as time goes on.

“With simple rules, they experience an emotional roller coaster as they repeatedly face cooperation, conflict and betrayal in a mysterious space divided into eight floors,” Netflix teases the plot.

Junyeol and Woohee formed the lineup along with Park Jungmin, Park Haejun, Lee Yool-eum, Lee Joo-young, Bae Sung-woo, and Moon Jung-hee.

The series is adapted from a popular webcomic money game and its sequels pie game Works by Bae Jin Soo.

8 show marks Han’s series directorial debut and promises striking and captivating visuals.Han is famous for his work in films such as face reader From 2013 to 2021 emergency declaration.
