US President Donald Trump took credit for ending tension between India and Pakistan, participating in the US-Saudi investment platform.
Trump said he used business to a large extent to reach the agreement.
“A few days ago, my administration gave a historic ceasefire to prevent the growing violence between India and Pakistan and I used business to a large extent to do it. I said, Phals, Come, Come on, let’s do a deal, let’s do some business, let’s do not trade nuclear missiles, let’s do those things that you do very beautifully,”
Trump further hoped that enmity remains in terms and it is credited for US Secretary Marco Rubio and US Vice President JD Vance.
“Hope it will live in this way, but all this stopped. I was very proud of Marco Rubio and all those who worked so hard. Marco, you did a great job on it. Thank you, thank you, JD Vance,” he said.
Trump further introduced that the two sides, India and Pakistan, have a ‘good dinner’ together, as they are getting back together.
“The whole group worked with you, but a great job. They are really getting together. Perhaps we can find them a little bit, where they go out and do a good dinner together. Is it not good? We’ll go a long way,” they said.
Trump said that millions of people could be killed in the struggle which ‘small started’.
He said, “Millions of people could die from the struggle that had started small and grew up in the day,” he said.
Earlier, during its regular press briefing, the official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs was asked about the role of America in the ceasefire.
For this, Jaiswal strongly reiterated that any issue related to Jammu and Kashmir should be addressed bilaterally with Pakistan and said that the excellent issue is a holiday of Pakistan -occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a media briefing, Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said that India’s policy of Jammu and Kashmir would have to be addressed bilaterally with Pakistan.
“We have a long -standing national situation that any issue related to the center region of Jammu and Kashmir is to be addressed bilaterally by India and Pakistan. It has been said that there has not been a change in policy. The outstanding case is a holiday of the Indian region illegally occupied by Pakistan.”
Responding to a query, he said that the time of time operation Sindor had a conversation between Indian and American leaders on the military situation, but none of these discussions had trades.
He said, “Time Operation Sindoor on May 10, till the end of firing and military action, negotiated between Indian and American leaders on the developed military situation. The issue of business came in none of these discussions,” he said. (AI)
