Multiple earthquakes of magnitude 4.0 or above occurred in Afghanistan within 24 hours

An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale struck Afghanistan in the early hours of Friday morning. According to the National Earthquake Center, the earthquake was felt at 5:11 am.

Afghanistan was hit by two earthquakes on Thursday, measuring 4.2 and 5.2 on the Richter scale.

The agency reported that the first quake was felt at 5.44 a.m. and the second at 4.25 p.m.

There have been no reports of any property damage or casualties caused by the earthquake.
