Mukesh recalled in an interview with Rajshri Unplugged: “During the shooting of ‘Ghatak’, Sunny and I got into a fight and we were given heavy swords to fight with. While coming down the stairs, both of us were using swords. During the fight, I made a small mistake and the grip of Sunny’s hand was affected. After that shot, it was lunch break and I was a little worried, because this kind of thing is usually trusted by fighting masters. I didn’t like it, I was thinking, ‘Why did I lose focus? This shouldn’t be happening. At the same time, people from the Sunny team came to me and they specifically said, ‘Mr. Sunny said, I’m fine’.”

“We all care about each other. Hitting isn’t acting, it should look like we’re hitting, that’s acting. We can be a little aggressive with each other, but never to the point of hurting someone. Mistakes happen,” Mukesh Rishi added.

Recalling another act of kindness by Sunny Deol, Mukesh shared an incident that happened while they were shooting for N Maharajan’s ‘Indian’. He mentioned that Dimple Kapadia’s sister Simple Kapadia used to accompany her on the shoot. She had a gadget that tracked how many steps a person took, and Rishi complimented her saying “nice” and asked various questions about the device. Surprisingly, when Mukesh went for a shoot next time, Sunny had already arranged this gadget for him.
