MPs demand mandelson can be returned to Britain to answer questions on Epstein relations: Live

Former Tory Defense Secretary Ben Walse has claimed that Lord Mandelson should never be appointed as the UK ambassador.

With the Jeffrey Epstein scandal blowing, Sir Ben warns that Mandelson threatens to damage the UK brand if he is in a position.

He posted on X: “Peter Mandelson should go. It was not always about UK PLC about him from day 1 in DC. He has spent his political career ‘regret’ and ‘resigned’. Why he was ever allowed to represent the crown and Britain is beyond me.”

Honored former Foreign Secretary Sir Malcolm Rafkind has told Independent Lord Mandelnson’s position as the UK US ambassador is now “very weak”, seeing the revelations on their friendship with Jeffrey Epstein.

Former Chairman of the Committee of Foreign Affairs Alicia Kirns MP has called his successor, Labor MP Emily Thornberry to demand that Lord Peter Mandalson returns to UK for questioning.

The MPs are allegedly calling Lord Peter Mandelson to return from the US to question the latest revelations about their relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.

As a lord, Manpson does not need to face interrogation from MPs.

But the powerful foreign affairs committee, including several labor MPs, is allegedly eager to return to them.

Tory MP and member of the Committee of Foreign Affairs Aphra Brandreth also urged Lord Mandelson to return to Britain to face interrogation.

“At the time of heavy instability around the world, it is important that the UK ambassador to the US focuses completely on his job,” he told The Broadcaster in a statement.

“As a member of the Committee of Foreign Affairs, I will welcome the ability to fulfill my duties in Britain on the occasion of questioning Lord Mandaleson.”

A government minister will be forced to answer questions in Commons about the appointment of Lord Mandelson.

Commons speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle has given a necessary question to Tory Neel O’Brien.

Mr. O’Brien said: “The speaker has given me an important question in Parliament this morning in Parliament. The star did not answer yesterday, let’s try again.”

Lord Mandelson does not require questioning by MPs as God is God.

Labor MP Rachel Maskail has said that Lord Peter Mandelnson’s role as UK ambassador is “unstable” in the US, looking at his previous relationship with infamous financialser Jeffrey Epstein.
