Motorola Razr 50 Ultra listed on EEC website, hints at imminent launch

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is likely to arrive later this year as the successor to the Razr 40 Ultra. The Razr 40 Ultra is a 2023 foldable phone from the company that comes with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, a dual rear camera setup, and a 3,800mAh battery. While there is little information about Motorola’s foldable phone, it has reportedly been listed on the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) certification website, suggesting it could launch in the coming weeks or months.

91 mobile phone spot A Checklist The Motorola smartphone’s model number on the EEC website is XT2453-1, which is similar to the model number of last year’s Motorola Edge 40 Ultra. Gadgets 360 is able to verify the presence of a purported smartphone on a website.

While the website did not reveal the name of the smartphone, a recent report stated that it is a device codenamed “Motorola Honor” with an almost identical model number of XT-2453-3. The phone is said to be coming to the US under the Razr+ brand, possibly Motorola Razr+ 2024. The leaked renders also suggest that it will arrive as a clamshell-style foldable phone.

Last year, Motorola launched the Razr 40 Ultra and standard Razr 40 models in global markets including India. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and features a 6.9-inch Full HD+ pOLED in-display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 3.6-inch pOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate.

The Razr 40 Ultra also comes with a 12-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. It has a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The phone comes with 256GB of built-in storage and a 3,800mAh battery that supports 30W and 8W wireless charging.
