Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, Edge 50 Fusion and Edge 50 Pro are expected to be launched in international markets on April 16. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Motorola said, disclose Its upcoming Edge 50 series smartphones will come with 125W TurboPower fast charging. For some reason, the company is still keeping the name a secret, but it’s clear that the phone in question is the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra.

The teaser video shows off the design of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra for the first time. It comes in Peach Plush color and comes with a punch-hole display and curved sides. It appears to have a triple rear camera unit led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS (optical image stabilization) support.

Motorola earlier confirmed that the Edge 50 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. A recent Geekbench listing also suggests that it will run on Android 14 and offer up to 12GB of RAM. It scored 1,947 points in single-core and 5,149 points in multi-core in Geekbench test.

According to past leaks, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will be equipped with a 6.7-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 165Hz. It could feature a 50-megapixel front camera and a 4,500mAh battery with support for 50W wireless charging.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is expected to be launched in the US under the codename Motorola Edge+ 2024 or Edge Ultra 2024 and will be priced at $999 (approximately Rs. 83,000).

The Motorola Edge 50 series consists of three products – Motorola Edge 50 Pro, Motorola Edge 50 Fusion and Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, which are expected to be released globally on April 16. Motorola Edge 50 Pro powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC has been launched in India. Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC.
