‘Mosquito tornado’ spotted in Pune river, viral video shocks people watch

Residents of Maharashtra’s Pune Kaladi district were shocked after witnessing a strange phenomenon that looked like a “mosquito tornado” hovering over a river. In a video that surfaced on social media, swarms of mosquitoes can be seen swirling over the Mutha river in Haradhishaf Nagar, which is covered with hyacinths.

The video was widely shared by people, some of whom expressed shock at the bizarre incident, while others tagged federal health minister Mansukh Mandaviya to seek action against the authorities.

Many people consider this dangerous and have also called for the removal of water hyacinths, which form a thick layer of ball-like clusters on the surface of the water and completely invade the water surface.
