Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) pacer Mohammed Siraj became a raving fan after Jasprit Bumrah’s masterclass performance for Mumbai on Thursday The Indians played a major role in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 on Thursday. Bumrah leaked just 21 runs in his quota of 4 overs while picking 5 wickets as MI restricted RCB to 196/8 at the Wankhede Stadium. In a high-scoring match, Gerald Coetzee, Akash Madhwal, Romario Shepherd and Hardik Pandya While other Mumbai Indians pacers such as (Hardik Pandya) have conceded more than 10 runs per over, Bumrah’s rate is 5.20. If not for Bumrah’s masterclass performance on the field, RCB might have scored over 220 runs in the match.

On the other hand, Bumrah’s national teammate Mohammed Siraj scored 37 runs without picking a wicket in 3 overs. After the match, Siraj got a chance to meet Bumrah and he bowed before the MI superstar. Here is the video:

Even RCB captain Faf du Plessis admitted in the end that putting pressure on Bumrah was quite difficult. The South African even dreamed of what would happen to his team if the MI star played for Bengaluru.

“Every time you see him with the ball in his hands, you feel like you have to put pressure on him,” Du Plessis said of Bumrah after the game. “But he has a lot of skills, plays well under pressure, he plays with the same movements and has a lot of variety. I think he gets better under the guidance of Rath Malinga. If he is one of our players Members, we will be happy with the team (smiles).”

Regarding his own team, Du Plessis admitted that the RCB bowling unit was not up to par.
