PM Modi wrote in a post, “Chhath, the great festival dedicated to nature and culture, is approaching. Devotees across the country including Bihar have started preparing for it with full devotion. The songs of Chhathi Maiya enhance the grandeur and divinity of this holy occasion. I request you to share the songs related to Chhath Puja with me too. I will share them with all fellow citizens in the next few days.” X.
PM Modi’s appeal received an overwhelming response as many people including men and women took to Instagram to share their Chhath song tagging the Prime Minister. “Bhara Lachkat Jaye, Bhara Lachkat Jaye, Bhaiya Jo Hoiye Modi Bhaiya. Bhara Kinkar Jaye, Bhara Kinkar Jaye, Bhara Chhathi Mai Ke Jaaye,” she sings with devotion, blending tradition with a contemporary touch.
Earlier in the day, PM Modi kicked off the Bihar election campaign with a rally in Samastipur today, coinciding with the festive mood as people across the state prepare for the Chhath Puja festival starting tomorrow.
