MMU calls for community boycott of Shia leader Imran Reza Ansari

Srinagar, July 13: An Amalgam of Islamic organizations in Jammu and Kashmir, Muttahida Majlis-e-Ula (MMU) on Sunday called for the legal action and community boycott of Shia leader and former minister Imran Ansari.

“The MMU -” includes scholars and leaders of all Islamic schools of consideration, both Sunni and Shia – wish to record their deep suffering and strong condemnation by Imran Raza Ansari continuously and deliberately.

MMU said in a statement, “Ansari has publicly resorted to misbehaving and insulting the revered companions of Prophet Muhammad. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable and is a direct attack on the foundation of Islamic unity, morality and mutual respect and will not be tolerated.” (PTI)
