Srinagar, August 25: In a constant effort to promote youth entrepreneurship and create livelihood opportunities for the youth of the district, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labaro on Monday handed over approval letters to the aspiring entrepreneurs of the district to help the aspiring entrepreneurs of the district to establish their own enterprises.
In this regard, the 2 Rose-e-Uwa was organized at the meeting hall of DC Office Complex, which was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Srinagar, Rifat Aftab Qureshi; Chief Planning Officer, Phase Ahmed Dar; General Manager J&K Bank, Peer Masood Ahmed Chisti; LDM (Bank), Nilofer Jan; Head of various J&K bank business units and other relatives, a large number of missions with YUVA beneficiaries from different parts of Srinagar district.
On this occasion, more than 250 fresh approval letters were distributed to aspiration entrepreneurs under the Mission Uva initiative, for which the proposals were approved after a detailed evaluation by the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC). These 250 approval follow the distribution of 200 approval letters earlier this month, causing the total number of beneficiaries under the Mission Youth in Srinagar to 450.
Speaking on the occasion, DC appreciated the efforts of all stakeholders departments and banks, who worked hard for clock to create a lively entrepreneurial ecosystem in Srinagar district. He expressed his happiness to the youth to be a part of the mission youth across the district.

He also urged the beneficiaries to make maximum benefits from the scheme and become a job provider.
The DC said that the district administration will provide all possible assistance to the Srinagar aspiring entrepreneurs and will help them set up enterprises that generate their income through self-employment opportunities under Mission Yuva. He further urged interested, interested entrepreneurs to go to the Mission Yuva website, so that the government could know the benefits being offered by the government in the form of credit and interest references.
