Missing girl in River Temes Spark Spark Key Search Operation

A major search operation for a girl is running Went missing After getting into difficulty Temes River,

The girl was one of the two children who entered the river near Royal Pier Road, GraveKent police said.

A boy was pulled by water by emergency respondents, taking him to a local hospital.

The police, Coastguard Service, RNLI and South East Coast Ambulance service, all participated in the scene to assist in rescue efforts.

Both the children were called by the London Authority at 1.46 pm on Friday after they were difficult to have any difficulty in water.

The Kent Police said that both sets of children’s parents have been informed.

A spokesperson of HM Coastguard said: “HM Coastguard Royal Terrace Pier, Gravesand is responding to a report of two children in a difficulty in water.

“The alarm was picked up on May 30 at around 1.35 am. A child has been recovered and the search continues for a second.

“Metropolitan police boats along with Gravesand, Kent Police and a police helicopter were sent to RNLI LIFEBOAT as well as South East Coast Ambulance Service.”

A spokesman for the Kent Police said: “The Kent Police was called by the Port of London Authority on Friday 30 May at 1.46 pm, which was for concerns for the welfare of the two children entering the river in Royal Pier Road, Gravesand.

“Officers, HM Coastguard, RNLI and South East Coast Ambulance Service participated in the scene where a boy was recovered with water. He was taken to the local hospital for further medical attention.

“A search is going on for a girl who is missing. Children’s parents have been informed.”

Independent South East Coast Ambulance Service has been approached for further comments.
