Riverdance Manufacturer Michael Flatley has indicated that he is open to enrollment IrelandThe next president.

He said that he was not sure that the role needed another politician, saying that he had spent three decades to promote Ireland and Irish culture.
He said that he was not contacted with any political party, but some “people know” were contacted.
“This is certainly not something on which I have taken a decision, but it becomes disappointing when you see the hardworking Irish taxpayer working hard and there is nothing to say in things.”
Asked if he is bending more in favor of running, he replied: “It is said that I stand for Ireland and Irish people.”
To be eligible to run, an candidate must be an Irish citizen who is 35 or older.
They should be nominated by either at least 20 members of oireachtas or at least four local authorities.
The former or retired presidents can nominate himself.
So far, two candidates have received enough support to enter the race.
