MHA 9 IAS posting, 3 IPS officers to J&K

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) ordered 9 IAS and 3 IPS officers to be transferred from Agmut Cadre to Jammu and Kashmir, while 6 IAS officers of the union area have also been transferred. However, the transfer of two IAS officers has also been withdrawn.

According to an order, Ashish Chandra Verma (1994 batch) and Anil Kumar Singh (1995 batch) have been posted from Delhi to Jammu and Kashmir.

Other IAS officers included Naveen SL (2012 batch), Chaudhary Mohammad Yasin (2015 batch). Srikanth Balasaheb Sus (2016), Shreya Singhal (2020), Mahima Madan (2021), Anant Dwivedi (2021), and Rakesh Kumar (2021) were transferred.

The IPS officers who have been transferred to Jammu and Kashmir include Sameer Sharma (2011 batch) from Lakshadweep, Sandeep Gupta (2015 batch) from Delhi and Rishi Kumar (2021 batch) from Delhi.

IAS officers transferred from Jammu -Kashmir include Pandurang’s Pol (2004 batch), Vijay Kumar Bidhuri (2005 batch), Sanjeev M Gadkar (2013 batch), Shakeel ul Rehman (2013 batch), Pardip Kumar (2013 batch), and Rahul Sharma (2013 batch).

Meanwhile, MHA canceled the transfer of two IAS officers.

According to the latest order issued by MHA, “In the number of 17.10.2024 in the partial amendment of MHA’s order, Saagat Biswas, IAS (Emmut: 2006) transfer, Arunachal Pradesh to Jammu and Kashmir, and Yash Mudagal, 2007, 2007),,

The order further states that all other ingredients of the original order will remain unchanged- (KNO)
