Mexican woman dragged out of police car and lynched

An angry mob attacked a suspected child kidnapper in the Mexican town of Taxco.

Horrifying footage of the incident went viral on the internet. Video shows angry people dragging the unknown woman out of a police car and lynching her.

The woman allegedly helped a man dispose of the body of a young girl, Camila Gomez Ortega.

Surveillance video shows the woman was involved. The little girl was raped and suffocated to death. The victim’s family found the home of the alleged killer and begged authorities to arrest them.

However, when the police took no action, the angry mob took matters into their own hands and chased the suspects from their homes.

“We’ve had enough. This time it’s an 8-year-old girl,” said one woman, Andrea.

“This is the result of our bad government. It’s not the first time this has happened, but it’s the first time people have taken action.”

People attacked her mercilessly and she succumbed to her injuries.

Taxco, where the lynching took place, is a town known for its tourism. Guerrero state, where Taxco is located, has long been plagued by drug cartel violence.

“I never thought that in a tourist destination like Taxco we would experience lynchings,” said Felipa Lagunas, a local primary school teacher.

“I thought this was something far away, far away from civilization…I never imagined my community would experience this on such a special day.”
