Met Issues Advisory; Warning of rain, thunder with esoteric winds in JK parts in the next 4-6 hours

Srinagar, 10 July: The Meteorological Department has predicted light rains, thunderstorms in parts of Jammu and Kashmir in the next 4-6 hours.

In a new advisory issued, the Met Department stated that some places in the Kashmir division and the hilly parts of Jammu may receive intense rainfall, with the possibility of landslides and mudslides at some weak places.

The advisor advised to suspend Shikara and boat in Dal Lake, Wular Lake and other water bodies during 2-3 hours.

“Usually light to moderate rain/thunder, cloudy during the next 4-6 Hars during the next 4-6 Hars during the next 4-6 harsh during the next 4-6 harsh during the next 4-6 harsh during the next 4-6 harsh during Kupwara, Baramulla, Bandipora, Gandarbal, Pirpanjal range, parts of the Pirpanjal range, Pirpanjal range, Chenb Valley and parts of Jammu.”

“Kupwara, Handwara, Baramullah, Gulmarg, Uri, Bandipora, hilly region of Badgam, in many places in Gandal and Srinagar, parts of South Kashmir and some other mountains of Jammu Division can meet with intense rains with intensive rain with Goous winds. The location,” reads.

The advisor urged the general public to suspend Shikara riding/boating in Dal Lake, Wular Lake and other water bodies during the next 2-3 hours.
