Meghan Markle’s latest photo with friends has sent fans online into a frenzy as she wears a newly altered engagement ring.

Prince Harry gave Meghan an engagement ring before the wedding, which featured a gold band and three diamonds. The Duke himself designed this beautiful piece of jewelry with a central diamond flanked by two smaller diamonds on each side.

The center diamond is significant because Botswana is where the couple allegedly got engaged, while the other two diamonds belonged to Princess Diana. However, the engagement ring changed a few months after Meghan and Harry’s wedding.

In the new photos, Meghan is seen wearing the ring alongside two of her friends, Kelly McGee-Zaiffin and Abigail Spencer. The diamond in the ring seemed to “change size.”

The Duchess made some changes to the ring, replacing the gold band with a delicate diamond-encrusted band.
