Meghan Markle won’t mend rift with Kate Middleton despite illness

Despite Prince Harry’s wishes, Meghan Markle isn’t ready to bury her rift with the royal family.

talking MirrorRoyal expert Tom Quinn has revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are at odds over extending an olive branch to Kate Middleton and Prince William.

While the Suits actor remains adamant about apologizing for her poor treatment, Harry is ready to put it all behind him and start over.

Quinn told the outlet: “Things have changed since Kate’s illness – Harry and Meghan do feel they need to extend an olive branch, but Meghan’s resentment still prevents anything truly meaningful from happening.”

“Illness often brings rival family members together, and Kensington Palace has been hoping that Kate’s illness might do just that,” he explained.

The royal expert added: “Harry wants reconciliation but is fully supportive of his wife, which won’t happen unless she feels the royal family has treated her well enough and grovelingly apologizes for the past.”

He previously noted that William “just viewed the whole thing as a storm in a teacup and couldn’t understand why his brother couldn’t get over the kind of quarrels that many brothers have to go through.”
