Meghan Markle, Prince Harry take bold step as UK plans gain momentum

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are taking all precautions ahead of their expected return to the UK next month.

According to reports, the Duke and Duchess have appointed brand manager Charlie Gipson as their UK spokesperson.

The newly appointed 41-year-old will work alongside their US-based PR team and act as the couple’s main point of contact for all UK and European media.

He describes himself as a “senior PR and events specialist with over 15 years’ experience in consumer communications.”

In addition to previously working with companies such as Mars, Cadbury and Domino’s, Gipson is also said to have “excelled in media relations and strategic communications planning” for clients including Samsung and Instagram.

As a brand manager, he has launched “delicious new dishes for Mars,” according to his LinkedIn profile, covered Crufts with Perdigree and once dressed up as Pudsey the Bear for Children in Need Are.

The latest blow comes as Harry prepares to travel to his home country next month to attend a St Paul’s Cathedral service to honor 10 years of the Invictus Games in London.

Meghan Markle’s appearance with her two children, Archie and Lilibet, remains uncertain, due to growing security issues and Britain’s general ill will towards her.
