Meghan Markle plans ‘non-verbal olive branch’ to royals during UK visit

Meghan Markle has been suggested to bring her and Prince Harry’s children to the UK during her visit next month.

Towards daily expressPR expert Raina Smith claims Archie and Lilibet could be key to the royal family and the British public’s upsurge in enthusiasm for the Sussexes following their betrayal.

The Duke will speak at a ceremony at St Paul’s Cathedral in London on May 8 to mark the 10th anniversary of the Thr Invctus Games.

It’s unclear whether the Suits actor will accompany Harry to celebrate the milestone for his charity gaming event.

Raina told the outlet: “The presence of children helps mitigate public criticism or media backlash (because people are generally kinder when children are involved) and highlights the family aspect of their lives, which many people relate to closely related.”

“Strategically, this can serve as a conciliatory gesture, extending a non-verbal olive branch to the royal family and the public – sharing what is most precious to them,” she explained.

However, the founder and director of Atticism noted, “If the decision is made to involve their children, it becomes critical to manage privacy and security to ensure children’s participation is appropriate and in their best interests.

“As with most situations, you have to weigh the potential benefits and drawbacks, the message it sends to the public and the royal family, and how it aligns with their broader goals and values,” the expert shared.

“Sadly for Meghan and Harry – whose relationship with the media and royal family has been severely damaged – this will be a consideration that will need to be considered for quite some time!” Smith added.
