Meghan Markle is in no rush to repair her “toxic” relationship with Kate Middleton despite her illness.

talking MirrorRoyal expert Tom Quinn says the Duchess of Sussex still holds a grudge against her estranged sister-in-law, who revealed she had been diagnosed with cancer last month.

He shared: “Meghan doesn’t feel guilty about Kate because she feels Kate should be the only person in the royal family who supports her through all the difficulties.

“Beyond that, Meghan knows Kate is an outsider, so she just doesn’t understand why Kate always follows the royal line instead of supporting her, Meghan, the other outsider.”

He noted that while the Princess of Wales’ cancer was a “real shock” to the “Suits” actor, it wasn’t a particular motivation for her to mend their relationship with her.

Tom claimed: “Kate’s cancer diagnosis was a real shock to Meghan but she saw no way to mend the relationship simply because it had become so toxic.”

“She also doesn’t want people to say she’s just trying to reconcile with Kate because she’s sick. Meghan still thinks Kate is at fault and should apologize before they try to build bridges,” the royal expert added.

The pair’s relationship has been bittersweet over the years. Despite putting on a united front with their husbands, Prince William and Prince Harry, media reports have often mentioned the strained relationship between the Sussexes before they quit the royal family.
