Maven expresses disappointment over ‘scary’ misleading interview about Johnny Depp

Maven has expressed his disappointment following an interview in which he was quoted as saying that the crew was “scared” of the film’s leading man, Johnny Depp.

The headline of the publication, which was posted online earlier this month, appears to suggest that Depp’s behavior on set was a cause for concern.

When I found out the newspaper had headlined that the crew were afraid of Johnny, I was surprised, and without the context and nuances of it, it doesn’t mean quite the same thing anymore.”

He clarified. “If I had known that author Charlotte O’Sullivan would use my words in such a malicious way I should have used the word ‘influential’.”
