New York (AP) – New York City officials are responding to a shooting report at the Midtown office building, with some top financial firms in the country and some of the National Football League.
The fire department of New York says that emergency employees were called to the Park Avenue Office building on Monday evening. A spokesman said the call came around 6:30 pm but did not give any other details.
The police did not give any additional information.
The emergency management warning system of the city warned of traffic delays for public transport in the area, road closure and disruption.
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino said in a social media post that the agent and other bureau workers were replying to provide support to what he was an “active crime”.
