A popular X user with over 1.5 million followers has shared a disturbing incident with his recent Amazon purchase. The user, known as ‘Gabbar Singh’ on the platform, claimed that he got a “fake iPhone 15” from the e-commerce site. He shared a photo of the product, which had a disturbing message on the screen that read, “Unfortunately, Photos has been discontinued”. In his post, he expressed his disappointment over the incident and asked his followers if they too have faced a similar problem.

“Wow @amazonIN delivered a fake iPhone 15. Seller is Appario. It is tagged with “Amazon choice”. No cables in the box. Total dubba. Did anyone face similar issue Is?” The user wrote on X.

The tweet quickly gained popularity, prompting a response from Amazon. “We are sorry to hear that you have received the wrong product in the package. Please fill in your details here: https://www.ndtv.com/offbeat/man-shares-pic-of-fake-iphone-15-he-received-from-amazon-company-reacts-5119601We’ll get back to you with an update in 6-12 hours.” amazon support wrote.

After this the user replied that he has filled the form and has asked for a refund from the company. Amazon assured him on this. The company said, “Thank you for confirming. Please wait for 6-12 hours, and our social media team will contact you with a solution via email. Your patience is appreciated.”

This post also received many comments from social media users. Sharing a similar experience, a user wrote, “This happened to me 15 days ago. In my case, it’s an old Android phone used inside iPhone packaging. I lost my money. Amazon refuses any help.” Did it. Please guys, stop buying expensive things from Amazon.” ,
