A man has been arrested Crowle After three Police officer Attacked seriously.
The person who was a suspect in an ongoing investigation attacked three officers because they tried to arrest him, causing “important injuries”, Sussex police Said.
The incident occurred in Gossops Drive, Gossops Green, around 2.30 pm on Saturday, before the suspect escaped the property.
Following a conversation, Crolie’s 43 -year -old man was arrested on suspicion of serious physical damage. He remains in custody and the police is not looking for anyone else regarding the incident.
All the three attack officers have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
Detective Superintendent Carrie Bohana said: “Violence against emergency workers is absolutely unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
“Police officers put themselves at risk to protect the public, but they should not expect to attack during their duties.
“I would like to appreciate these three officers for their bravery, and they will get full support of our police service while recovering.
“An inquiry is going on to understand what has happened in this incident. My petition is for any information or relevant video footage – such as a doorbell or mobile phone – to share us. Please report it online or through 101, quote operation whitby.”
