After watching the spectacular Republic Day parade on the Kartwa Path, French President Emmanuel Macron was seen enjoying Sufi music at Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah in Delhi on Friday evening.

The French leader, invited by India as the chief guest at the 75th Republic Day celebrations, reached the temple at around 9.30 pm. He first prayed there and then spent some time listening to magical qawwali at the 700-year-old dargah.

This Dargah is the tomb of the famous Sufi Nizamuddin Auliya and his disciple Amir Khusro. The French President was briefed about the history and significance of the Dargah during his visit.
