Former England captain Kevin Pietersen has expressed concern after a man was stabbed in a broad daylight attack on a London train. The incident occurred on a Victoria-bound train between Shortland and Beckenham on Wednesday. Local police appealed for witnesses to come forward after the victim was reported to have suffered “serious injuries”. Peterson retweeted a video of the same incident on social media platform X and called London “a disgrace to a place”.
“OMG, are we in London now?!?!?! London used to be the most amazing city. What an absolute disgrace to the place,” Peterson wrote in the caption of the post.
Peterson also pointed to recent incidents of broad daylight robberies in the capital.
Is WTAF in London now? ! ? ! ? ! London used to be the most amazing city. This is an absolute disgrace to the place.

Meanwhile, Peterson is currently in India commentating for the IPL.
Pietersen, who announced his retirement from the sport in March 2018, won four Ashes series and scored 8,181 runs in 104 Tests.
Pietersen, who had an ill-fated brief spell as captain of England, is best remembered for his brilliant innings of 158 in the fifth Test against Australia at The Oval in 2005.
The heroic effort ensured England got the draw they needed to finally reclaim the Ashes, and he also scored an epic 227 against Australia in Adelaide in 2010 and against India in Mumbai in 2012. Wonderful 186 points.
Born in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, Peterson made his international debut in 2004 against Zimbabwe in Harare. While he has become a dominant force among Test batsmen, Pietersen’s return with 10 centuries in 137 ODIs speaks volumes for one’s ability to break down any bowling attack. Peterson’s highest score in ODIs was 130 against Pakistan in 2012.
