Katie Price threatened with arrest after missing hearing

Katie Price was recently warned she “could be arrested” for missing a bankruptcy hearing after declaring she was “deep in debt” in 2019.

This came after the former glamor model failed to appear before a specialist bankruptcy court in London on Friday, April 26.

Although Price provided medical evidence to the court as part of his alibi, the judge described it as “scant”.

Meanwhile, the barrister for Price’s first bankruptcy trustees said Katie should be put “on notice” that she could be arrested if she defaulted.

Darragh Connell, who also represents the trustees, told the court, “It is important that he is aware of the fact that this is a possibility.”

For those unaware, he was declared bankrupt for the second time due to an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05.

In October 2023, Price was asked by HMRC to settle her bills, however, she remained unresponsive.

Earlier, reacting to this news, she had said, “Isn’t it? Hey, get lost… Are you really serious while I am sitting here? What have I done now?”
