LG Sinha Visits Yatri Niwas at Bhagwati Nagar Jammu, Reviews Arrangements for Pilgrims

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Today Visited Yatri Niwas at Bhagwati Nagar and Reviewed Arranges for the Pilgrims of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.

The Lieutenant Governor reviewed the food and housing of pilgrims, security, registration counters, electricity and water supply, health facilities, aid desk, sanitation, transport and emergency services.

In the passenger foundation, the Lieutenant Governor interacted with the devotees of Baba Barfni and gave his heartfelt greetings to the pilgrims for a safe, blessed and spiritual complete experience.

Addressing the media persons on the occasion of his visit, the Lieutenant Governor said that a large number of devotees from all over the country have come for the yatra, which starts from Jammu tomorrow morning.

“Shri Amarnath ji Yatra is a calm, informative and lifelong experience. His pilgrimage can be full of happiness, peace and spiritual joy.

Better arrangements have been made for the convenience of pilgrims. The Lieutenant Governor said that we should carry forward the traditions of J&K and this journey should get a big success.

The 38-day long Shri Amarnathji Yatra will start from the base camp on both routes on 3 July and it will conclude on 9 August 2025. The journey will be flagged off by the Lieutenant Governor on 02 July from Yatri Niwas, Bhagwan Nagar.

DGP with Lieutenant Governor was with Mr. Nalin Prabhat; ADG CRPF, Mr. Rajesh Kumar; Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Mr. Ramesh Kumar; IGP Jammu Shri Bhim Sen Tuti; Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Mr. Sachin Kumar Vaishiya and senior officers of civil administration, police and security forces.
