Pakistan is using Civil Airlines as a shield, the Indian Army says that

Wing Commander Vyomika Singh highlighted the strategy of Pakistan’s airspace, saying that Islamabad on Wednesday kept his civilian airspace open after launching the “unsuccessful unprotected drone” and missile attack, effectively used civil airlines as shields.

During the briefing, the Wing Commander showed the data of the application flight radar 24 during the position of high air defense warning in the Punjab region.

Singh said that when India’s airspace had increased, due to high alert, Pakistan allowed civil airlines to continue the flight, including the Karachi-Lahore road.

“As you have seen, the airspace of the Indian side is completely free from air traffic due to our declared closure. However, there are civil airlines flying air routes between Karachi and Lahore … The Indian Air Force demonstrated considerable restraint in its response to ensure the safety of the international citizen carrier.”

In addition, he also said that in response to the Pakistani attack, armed drones were launched at four air defense sites in Pakistan. One of the drones was capable of destroying an air defense radar on Thursday.
