LG Sinha visited the Baltal Base Camp; Review arrangement for the ongoing Amarnath Yatra

Genderbal, July 20, KDC: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited the Baltal Base Camp today and reviewed the arrangement of the ongoing Shri Amarnathji Yatra.

The Lieutenant Governor presided over a meeting with officials of the camp director, district administration, police and security agencies and discussed measures taken to facilitate the smooth movement of the pilgrims.

He also reviewed mud-slide preventive measures, and comfortable migration, food, healthcare, connectivity, hygiene, water and electricity supply, traffic management, spot registration and other arrangements for other facilities for pilgrims.

The Lieutenant Governor interacted with pilgrims and service providers and received their response.

He also reviewed the preparation and response system of stakeholders to deal with the vagina of any season. He instructed the officials concerned to take dedicated measures to ensure the safety of pilgrims in weak areas.

At the Baltal Base Camp Hospital, the Lieutenant Governor interacted with doctors, medical staff and inspected health facilities for pilgrims.

The Lieutenant Governor appreciated the devoted efforts of all departments and agencies involved in the travel management to ensure the safe and uninterrupted pilgrimage of the devotees of Shri Amarnath ji.

Lieutenant Governor VK Burdi, IGP was with Kashmir; Dr. Shahid Iqbal Chaudhary, Secretary, Department of Science and Technology; Jatin Kishore, Deputy Commissioner, Genderbal and SASB, police, security forces and senior officials of stake departments. (KDC)
