LG Sinha to review the semiconductor lab project for Kashmir University. MJ meets Jarabi

Dr. MJ Zarabi, former President, Board of Governors, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar called Lt Governor Shri Manoj Sinha today. Prof. with them. Naseer Iqbal, Registrar, University of Kashmir and Dr. Sheikh Ghulam Mohammed, Director Northern Campus was also.

The delegation discussed the establishment of a semi-conductor design center and a lab scale fabrication facility for training purpose at Northern Campus, Kashmir University, Delina, Baramulla.

The proposed center will serve as a nucleus for research, innovation and skill development in semi-conductor design. This feature will also start a startup and encourage innovation in chip design and testing. In addition, it will increase its integration with the university’s curriculum and industry.
