LG Sinha Chairs 75th meeting Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board meeting

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today presided over the historic 75th meeting of Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) at the Spiritual Development Center, Katra.

The meeting was attased by the newly Constrated Board, Compirising Members Including Mahamandleshwar Shri Swami Vishveshvaranand Giriji Maharaj, Shri Baaleshwar Rai, Dr. Ashok Bhan, SMT. Sudha Murty, SMT. Gunjan Rana, Dr. Kk Talwar, Shri Kulbhushan Ahuja, Shri Lalit Bhasin and Shri Suresh Kumar Sharma.

The Lieutenant Governor warmly welcomed the new members of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, which highlights the trust and responsibility assigned to him. He underlined the board’s important role in managing the temple and preserving his spiritual and cultural heritage.

The Lieutenant Governor expressed confidence that the new members would contribute significantly to the board’s initiative, carry forward its objectives and increase the height of the pilgrimage.

He also accepted the dedicated services and significant contribution of the former board members, and appreciated his valuable contribution to the decision -making processes during his tenure.

The board reviewed its previous decisions; Action has been taken after the last meeting and took several major decisions on 21 important agenda goods with far -reaching implications to increase the functioning of the board and pilgrimage services.

The board took several important decisions about various ongoing and new projects, including the exit and remodeling in the building, development of a helipad in Katra, Cottage for Cottage for Cottage near Sports Stadium in New Vaishnavi Bhavan, Sports Stadium in Katra, operation and retirement for operating for saingic. The purpose of the helipad is to increase the pilgrimage facilities for Shiva Khori Shrine by providing an easy and convenient experience for devotees.
The board also reviewed progress on the Akshay Solar Energy Initiative in the pilgrimage area and directed CEO SMVDSB to present a comprehensive plan for major establishments, in an attempt to reduce the carbon footprint. The board approved a comprehensive sewerage network covering 100% of the establishments within the pilgrimage area to increase the cleanliness infrastructure.

The Lieutenant Governor reviewed the passenger response system and directed to expand all services with active incentive of monthly monitoring and pilgrim participation to ensure continuous improvement in service distribution.

The board also directed the CEO SMVDSB to find out the possibility of publishing volunteer services to address their questions, addressing their questions, addressing their questions, addressing their questions and assisting pilgrims to provide guidance along the way during pilgrimage.

The Lieutenant Governor further directed to identify weak places along the pilgrimage route and to apply the necessary measures to address and reduce the possible risks of landslides and shoot stones to ensure a safe environment for landowners.

The board reviewed and approve the financial assistance for institutions under SMVD Charitable Society including Gurukul, Hospital, Sports Complex, College of Nursing and Medical College to support its operations and activities through grant-help.
On the occasion of the meeting, the Lieutenant Governor inaugurated several pilgrims, including battery car parking stand, outer cave shed, self-service kiosk / digital cash register and smart locker. The board noticed that important infrastructure projects have been launched by the Pilgrim Board to increase pilgrim experiences.

A battery car parking stand in the building to provide convenience and access to pilgrims, especially the elderly and the disabled. About 1000 square feet of the parking stand serves as a storage area for materials from the ropeway. Additionally, the construction of a laminated glass shed outside the cave area to facilitate smooth pilgrimage regulation in all weather conditions, preserving the beautiful beauty of the region.

300 smart lockers near the Skywalk area in the building offer a convenient and safe storage solution, they were also dedicated to the devotees. These smart lockers are associated with the RFID card, allowing devotees to store their belongings safely and safely.
In addition, the Lieutenant Governor inaugurated an additional dormitory block at SMVD Gurukul, which was constructed at a cost of Rs.

Earlier, Shri Anshul Garg, CEO, SMVDSB made a detailed presentation on the action taken in relation to the implementation of various decisions of the Shrine Board and the implementation of various decisions of the previous meetings.
